Together these 2-5 year old St. Croix and Royal White ewes make up an extremely low-input flock. They continue to perform on pasture without the use of barns, grains, or wormers. Exposed to White Dorper rams for March 1st lambing, they will produce high-dollar lamb carcasses.

These 4 year old ewes have and will continue to produce an outstanding lamb crop with high-dollar carcasses. They graze 365 days a year on reclaimed strip mines of eastern Ohio. They winter outside on stockpiled forage only, with no added supplements. They lambed in April 2023 and are open and ready to breed.

At Crossroads, we have developed a top-of-the-line Livestock Guardian Dog program. Raising and training dogs to protect flocks of sheep/goats, these Maremma-crosses are not pets. Working with our flock from the time they are 10 weeks old, our dogs spend 365 days with our sheep on pasture. Dogs range in age from 6 months to 4 years.
